WET and WINDY conditions to BLAST Tasmania this week!

The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast a week of windy and wet days across the state! A cold front is expected to cross on Tuesday, bringing wet, windy and cold conditons to Tasmania. GUSTY WINDS will develop about much of the state on Tuesday morning, with SNOW lowering to SIX HUNDRED METRES about the south in the evening.

The bureau predicts there will be 15 to 25 mm of rainfall about the west and far south of Tasmania during TUESDAY, with up to 5 mm expected elsewhere.

A west to northwesterly stream on Monday will bring 15 to 25 mm of rainfall
to the west and 5 to 15 mm into the north, but lesser amounts into the lower
east and southeast.

SNOW IS EXPECTED TO FALL DOWN TO 600 METRES ON TUESDAY EVENING IN TASMANIA.

A cold front that crossed Tasmania on Sunday morning brought 2 to 10 mm of
rainfall generally about the north and west, but 15 to 25mm to the Western
Tiers. Rainfall in the southeast and the east coast was mostly less that 1mm.
